REVIEW
This book, both illustrated and narrated by Isol, is an ideal short text for those taking their first steps in reading.
The short story addresses important themes for reflection. The central message is self-acceptance: beyond the desires for change, learning to value our peculiarities is essential. It also explores the idea of satisfaction and the need to appreciate what one has, instead of constantly longing for what is lacking.
However, it also shows us that when given the opportunity to ask for ANYTHING, indecision and fear of making mistakes can lead us to express any wish, which leads us back to a cycle of dissatisfaction.
This story illustrates how the desire for something more can generate a constant sense of inadequacy, creating a perpetual void.
